GENERAL QUESTIONS:

Q: Where is ReeceNichols Training?
A: ReeceNichols Training is located at 11601 Granada in Leawood, Kansas. Training is on the first floor with an entrance to the east of the main entrance. This location is also our Corporate Office and Town Center Sales Office. 

Q: I’m coming from out of town. Are there any hotels nearby?

Q: Does ReeceNichols Training offer any online classes?
A: Yes. If you are needing KS CE classes online please click here.  If you need MO CE classes online please click here. If seeking classes for dual credit, most of the Missouri CE courses are approved for Kansas CE credit. You must purchase a Second State certificate (50% of course cost) to receive credit.

Q: I signed up for the Pre-license class but I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
A: Yes. ReeceNichols Training will refund any tuition payments in full prior to the class commencement. If a student has completed 25% of the course or less and chooses to withdraw, the student will be refunded a proration of tuition. The completion percentage shall be based on the total number of calendar days in the course and the total number of calendar days completed.  After a student has attended at least 25% of the course, tuition and fees shall not be refundable. All refunds will be returned within 60 days of the refund request. 
Pre-license students should fill out the Request for Refund Form and send via email to Training@ReeceNichols.com.

CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE):

Q: Do the CE classes count for both Kansas and Missouri credit?
A: Yes! All in-person CE classes through ReeceNichols Training will count for both states. However, they may count for a core in one state and an elective in the other. Check the course description to be sure. 

Q: Which CE classes count for CORE credit?
A: Missouri requires a FAIR HOUSING CE Core class for all Salesperson and Broker licensees. The CE class "Kansas Required Core" is REQUIRED for all Salesperson and Broker licensees in Kansas.


Q: What requirement does a Code of Ethics CE Class fulfill?

A: REALTORS® are required to complete the ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time every two years. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. Q: When do I renew my Kansas License?
A: Kansas Renewals are based on the month you were initially licensed or the first letter of your last name for older licenses. Visit the Kansas Real Estate Commission to find out where you fall. https://www.krec.ks.gov/licensing/license-renewal

Q: When do I renew my Missouri License?

Q: When do I renew my Missouri Broker’s License?
A: The next renewal is June 30, 2024. Visit the Missouri Real Estate Commission for additional information. http://pr.mo.gov/realestate.asp

Q: How many CE hours do I need for a Kansas license?
A: All Kansas agents with a salespersons license must complete the 12-hour CE requirement by their first renewal date and at each subsequent two-year renewal. Of the 12 hours, salespersons and brokers must complete at least 3 mandatory (core) hours - which is the Kansas Required Core.

Q: How many CE hours do I have for a Kansas SALESPERSONS/BROKERS license?
A: The Kansas Real Estate Commission allows you to check your CE hours online, anytime. Follow this link to check your hours: https://licensing.ks.gov

Q: How many CE hours do I need for a Missouri SALESPERSONS/BROKERS license?
A: All Missouri salespersons and brokers must meet a 12-hour CE requirement every two-year license period. Note: The same course cannot be taken more than once for credit in the same renewal period.

Q: How many CE hours do I have for a Missouri SALESPERSONS/BROKERS license?
A: Hours must be checked by the agent. If you would like to check to see how many CE hours you have completed for this renewal period, please follow the instructions provided below:

  • Click on "MREC Licensee Search" - Search by licensee name or license number.
  • Click on "Detail" and scroll to the bottom to find continuing education information.

NOTE: CE credit hours are only provided on the website for licensees who have authorized the MREC to post their continuing education information online. If your information is not available, you can submit a Continuing Education Consent Form to allow your current continuing education to appear.
